BEND EXTEND
BY BRONTE TROISI
Bronte has an infectious passion for health, fitness and general well-being. She values traditional technique in a modern setting, where community is a focus and connection is key.
Bronte originally started pilates as a form of active recovery, to complement her running training and improve her stance and efficiency. She was so eager to learn more and develop her skills and knowledge on movement and the body, so she completed her teacher training and went on to specialize in Pre and Postnatal which is truly where her passion lies. Bronte has worked in a range of studios with varying class sizes, pace, focus and client intention. This has equipped her with the knowledge and skills to best adapt, structure and assist each client in achieving their personal goals.
Bronte is a mother of two herself and has experienced first hand the emotional and physical changes of pregnancy and the juggle of motherhood.
”When becoming a mum, I found it extremely difficult to prioritize time for myself to move my body. We had very little support around us, my husband had an extremely unpredictable work schedule and it was a constant battle between nap times, feeds and the beautiful chaos of raising two little ones.
I was so desperate to feel myself again, feel stronger and confident in my changing body. I attempted online programs, but felt I needed someone to hold me accountable, challenge me and support me as I rediscovered connection, body awareness and control in a body that (at the time) felt so foreign.”
Bend Extend was born.
Bronte wanted to create space for individuals who want the flexibility to work out from the privacy of their own home (with little ones in tow), but still be held accountable, be challenged and receive personalized care and support. A space where there is absolutely no expectation, nothing but understanding and time to focus on YOU!
